burn mixed music

When I load a cd that has continious music with multiable tracks, wmp 11
plays it fine, but when I burn that same music there is a pause after each
track.  How do I get rid of the pause after each track?

2 problems when i burn a cd it may show 15 to 17 songs on the cd but only the
1st 5 or 6 will play and my window media is not playing it is giving me an
errow message saying (WINDOW MEDIA PLAYER CANNOT PALY THE FILE BECAUSE THERE
IS A PROBLEM WITH YOU SOUND DEVICE THERE MIGHT NOT BE A SOUND DEVICE
INSTALLED ON YOUR COMPUTER, IT MIGHT BE IN USE BY ANOTHER PROGRAM, OR IT
MIGHT NOT BE FUNCTIONING PROPERLY) it did not always say this it use to play
