Following on from my previous msg about usb connections freezing my screen,
after uninstallying usb etc the problem is still there.
I have been advised to try doing a recovery program. However I'm not 100%
sure if this is the right thing to do and how to do this.  Would this delete
my BT broadband?

Only if you installed it AFTER Limewire, which I doubt you did.

System Restore :

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore > Follow
instructions, choosing a date prior to installing Limewire.

What mp3 player are you using ???

Cheers,
Jerry

I'm using Duraband mp3 (Asdas own brand) It was working fine last week before
I downloaded Limewire/360 Share Pro as I downloaded songs I had burned from
my own cds.
I have done system restore and nothing has happened, still getting frozen
screen when I plug mp3 or camera in.......(starting to tear hair out!!!)

Read this :

and trawl through this lot :

Try changing USB sockets on your PC. Unplug both devices (camera and mp3
player), then re boot. Leave your PC on and see if it freezes up. If after
an hour, say, its OK, then turn plug in your camera (use a different USB
socket).

If it doesn't freeze up after an hour or so, re-boot, and see what happens.

Read some of the posts in the above links, then try plugging in the mp3
player, the acid test.

TBC.

Good luck,
Jerry
