I noticed today that a lot of music files are missing from Windows Media
Player 10.
Running "search" gives their location as being in My Shared Music folder but
when I open that, only the folders are there with no audio files in them.
Are they still on my pc somewhere?
Can I retrieve them?
Anyone have the answer?

Go to:  Start>Search>Files and Folders>type a single word in one of
the song titles and click Search.  When it finds it, you can hover the
cursor over it to see where it is located and also all the rest of the
ones you are missing.
Note:  Make sure your search parameters are set for drive "C"
