I'm trying to dounload songs to my ipod,
but when i put the USB into the computer it say,
"HI-SPEED Device Plugged into non-HI-SPEED Hub"
In your compatibility section it says that the 2.0 will work with a 1.1 just
not fast.
So i was wondering if the only way to fix this problem was to buy a HI-SPEED
host,
or is there another way were i DON'T have to spend money!  :D

Check the specs of your motherboard to make sure you really don't have USB2
capability. If you do, then you have to make sure you've got a USB2 cable.
Or if you need more USB plugs, get a PCI card, they're cheap.

BTW, USB 2.0 is backward compatible - you can plug in a USB 1.1 but you
won't get the same transfer speed.

Cheers,
Jerry
