assign windows dancers to genre music

when trying to assign windows dancers to genre music an error message appears
"windows cannot detect sound". my version is windows xp media center edition

thanks for your reply.dancers detected sound/music only onyoutube but on
windows still mute receiving "audio not found windows dancer encountered an
error while attemptig to detect audio"anyway thank you very much for your
effort

Try one more item.  Open Windows Media Player and click Tools on the top
Toolbar, then Options.  Now click the File Types tab and click the "Select
All" button.  Click Apply and OK out.  Reboot.
