Hello!!

Heard Audacity was so easy to use then why is it I can't play anything thru
it such as CD in drive and play a selection off the hard
drive....Thanks......Nick Meale

It is easy !

Make sure you have the correct "source" selected (drop down menu underneath
the zomm and time shift icones).

I don't see a drop down menu below shift time tool and zoom tool icons below
on my pape..Output tool and speaker icon are below the zomm tool and time
shift icones).

View > Toolbars > Reset Toolbars.

I have version 1.3.3 and there is a drop down menu on the toolbar that
enables you to select the source. Failing that double click on the
loudspeaker icon in the SysTray and make sure everything is unchecked except
Microphone.
