converting mp3 to ?

I have mp3 files and I want to burn regular CD (not mp3)
is it wav?

Yes, the CDA-tracks on a CD are in WAV-format. Your burning software may
sort this out by itself once you have chosen Audio CD as the target. (I
don't know.)
