I bought a ipod classic that I could down load some music. I now learn that I
need a usb 2 port which my computer does not have. Can down loading music be
done using the usb 1 on my computer. If not, what do I need to do. Appreciate
your help.

Either :

buy a USB2 card to put into a PCI slot inside your computer

or

use the USB1.1 ports that you already have. Device may or may not work. It
could, but with reduced transfer speeds.

Cheers,
Jerry
