zune problems please please help me!!!!

i downloaded the zune software, and when i try to open the program, it gives
me a error message " AN ERROR HAS OCCURED, PLEASE SEND TO MICROSOFT,I CLICK
SEND AND NOTHING HAPPENS THE ERROR NUMBER 1609"
I CANT EVEN USE MY ZUNE BECAUSE I CANT GET INTO THE PROGRAM
PLEASE HELP

Don't know if this will help, but go to Control Panel, select
Administrative Tools, then Event Viewer. Do you see the error under
Application or System?

Where did you D/L the software? Maybe try a second D/L?

Re-download the software, could be corrupt.

Log on as adminstrator and see if you can install the software under that
account.
