Hello!!

I am using Audacity but with little success..My current problem is:
I don't know where to retrieve personal audio taped music I record to the
hard drive...Its
analog and the computer can't read track names of course..Besides,Audacity
does not ask me where I wish to store or type tracks for these tracks..What
to do..Thanks,Nick

I am converting LP to CD at the moment using Audacity and Nero Smart Suit.

What I do is once I have recorded, save the file to a new file on the
desktop using the Save As command under File and then enering the target file
in the file location box.

Further to my last. to find what you have already got on your hard drive do a
search looking for ".au" file types.

Use the following  :

File > Export > choose where you want to save the file and as what type of
file.
