Hello,
I have 2 pc's running XP Pro - one is a desktop connected
to via rj45 cable to a wireless router which is connected
to a dsl modem, the other is a laptop connected via the
wireless connection. I can get out to the internet fine
on the laptop - but I can't see or access any of the
files on the desktop. From the desktop I can see and
access the laptop fine. The desktop has ICS
enabled...I've tried to run the network wizard and it
tells me it fails or it claims to complete but I still
can't see the desktop shares. I have run it as other -
connects thru a hub...I've run it as it connects through
another pc...Nothing seems to work. As a quirk I found
that I can however add some of the shares individually
when I click 'Add A Network Place'. What am I doing
wrong? I'm so frustrated I really enjoy XP except this
feature!!

HELP PLEASE!!!

For starters, you should turn off ICS.  There is no reason to run
software routing (ICS) when you use a hardware router (unless your
home net is really bizarre).
