Okay I have followed the Microsoft guide of just trying to
disable and delete it, but it always just sits there and
stalls out while its trying to delete.. then I try the
method of going to the device manager and uninstalling the
network bridge and it just simply goes into "not
responding" mode.. So I need this deleted because it is
preventing the rest of my internet connections from
working.. please help.. thanks!

My suggestion:
First boot to Safe Mode (just plain Safe Mode)
and then try following this article:
Device Manager Does Not Display Devices That Are
Not Connected to the Windows XP-Based Computer
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;315539
You may need to try uninstalling all listings under Network Adapters
if the Network Bridge still will not uninstall, and then reboot to Normal
Mode and see what happens after everything is redetected and reinstalled.
