system tray connection icon missing

hi

my dial up connection icon is missin from the system tray
after connecting to the internet, i checked the "show
icon in notification are when connected" its already
checked, and i dont use"hide inactive icons" all showin!

it used to be there,, but suddenly its gone , idont know
if it has to do woth some virus! anyway i updated and
checked for viruses and none! i was wonderin if there s a
regestry entry for this?

Please tell me how your icons went missing. ;)

I have the opposite problem, my network icons keep buggin
me even when I uncheck the box.

Only sulution so far is disabling them in the bios, but I
don't like the idea of shutting down and starting the
computer again every time I want to start WIFI

i tiried rebootin but without much success, and the
naggin for me that it wont show at all! i tried everythin
except formating!
