Hi,

I have SP2 installed and what is changed (for the worse) is that when I use
Internet over my LAN in another way than HTTP (streaming video, Windows
Update etc), Windows tries to dial and use a private banking dialup
connection, until I cancel that after which everything works just fine. The
videos stream, and Windows updates. It just drives me wild though. Internet
settings say "Never dial" but it seems to ignore its masters commands.

Anyone got any suggestions? Much obliged.

Bart,
I have found another post similar to yours from 10/7/2004.  I am having a
similar problem.  I have found that deleting the dial-up connection solves it
temporarily but once you re-add it and use that connection it will happen
again.  Did you find a solution?
