I want to redo my home networking system all over again. I believe I may have
put it together wrong. How do I go about deleting/removing  the existing one
from the sysytem to redo it from a fresh start? Thank you.

There's no need to delete everything.  Run XP's Network Setup Wizard
to configure the network the way you want it:
