Shared Folder Doesn't Connect

I use a shared folder to connect 5 computers via a peer to peer network.
This folder has been mapped as "Drive J:" on each.

When any one of the networked computers are turned on it may or may not
consistently connect to the shared, mapped  folder.  This happens even with
the computer holding the shared folder.  A connection may then be
established by clicking on My Computer, then the shared folder.

But this solution is bothersome and time wasting.  Is there a way to cause
the computers to connect to the shared folder consistently at start up?
(I've made sure the computer containing the shared folder is turned on
first)

Thanks for any help given!

Greg,

Maybe somebody has a better answer but in my research of the MS KB articles
this past week (for a similar problem), this one is supposedly a known issue
with SP-1.  The fix is to install SP-2 but there is also a HotFix available
from them but you need to contact their Tech Support in order to get the
download.

My problem is having a mix of SP-1 and SP-2 configurations - all soon to be
upgraded to SP-2 and then I can tell you for sure if it fixes it or not.

Next.....
