I've just set up a home network using Linksys router/hub (wireless
hardwired) for 2 desktops and a laptop. All desktops are  running X
Home with firewall off and file sharing on but while I can see in on
direction I can't in the other. Instead I get an error msg indicatin
that "Not enough server storage available to process the command" (se
attached image) yet I have almost 60GB available on that pc??
Any suggestions as to how to access the other pc. I've double checke
all of the workgroup nomenclature so that doesn't seem to be th
problem. I've also removed NAV2005 and Systemworks (just in case!)
:confused

That error message is unhelpful and misleading.  The problem is
probably that NAV2005 changed an obscure TCP/IP setting.  Please see
this Microsoft Knowledge Base article for a likely solution,
specifying a value of 15 for IRPStackSize on the computer that you're
trying to access:

Thanks for suggestions....but which pc do I apply this to??? the one I'
getting the error msg on when I try to connect to the other pc....or th
other pc that I'm trying to connect to???....or both???
My ISP owns/maintains the router/hub equipment so I don't have an
access to the router/settings.
If I simply re-load my OS disks...will that solve the problem??? (I wa
thinking I should probably clean up the pc anyway)
Also, what stack level should I change this to for both running X
Home??? Also, if I decide to add in another pc running 98SE willl tha
cause any problems??
Thanks for the support!!!! :confused

Apply the change to the computer that you're trying to connect to.

There's no need to change anything relating to the router/hub.

I see no reason to re-load the OS.  That would solve the problem, at
least temporarily, but installing NAV2005 would probably cause the
problem to return.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand the question.

No.

You're welcome.
