Hi,
I hope someone can help me with this.

I am running WinXP. I have a need for a packet sniffer. I understand that
the Network Monitor has this feature. How do I install the Network Monitor?

I don't believe Network Monitor ships with Windows XP, only with server
operating systems.

This indicates it's available with XP. I just wasn't sure how to go find it.

Got me - and in any case this utility only captures packets, you'd still
need a Server copy of Windows to load and analyze the packets captured.

www.packetyzer.com free GUI
Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP.
Packetyzer is distributed together with winpcap and Ethereal.
