Were you actually able to access individual files under "My Documents" (and not
under "All Users") on a Windows XP HE server, from another computer? With Guest
access to a Windows server, the "My Documents" folder structure (with the
exception of "All Users") simply isn't accessible thru the network. With Simple
File Sharing, you can't give Guest access to a personal storage space.

Is it possible that you tweaked XP Home, and / or temporarily disabled Simple
File Sharing?

Yes i was deffinately access my personal file (C:\Documents And
Settings\<username>) on the Windows XP Home computer from the Windows Me one.
"Is it possible that you tweaked XP Home, and / or temporarily disabled Simple

By this do you mean on the previous network setup between the XP Home and Me
computers or the current one between two XP Home Computers?
To my knowledge XP Home was not tweaked (on both network setups). Not sure
about the disabling of Simple File Sharing though. where would i find this?

Is it possible that you previously tweaked XP Home, and / or temporarily
disabled Simple File Sharing, in your network of XP Home / ME? Read these
