Yesterday I had asked a question regarding setting up 'FQDN' for my personal
laptop having Windows XP Pro Service Pack2

Mr "Pcbutt1" suggested, to setup IIS and register domain name. I am done
with these steps.

Now How can I redirect domain name to the web pages of my virtual directory?

And what would be my FQDN then?

Please I am new  to this, so appreciate detailed steps.

Early reply to this would be highly appreciated.

Can't find it. Where did you post it? In general, when you ask additional
questions about a topic that you have already begun, you should post back
to that thread. I realize that you are accessing this group through the web
site, which is real quirky to navigate; still, you should try to remember
which group you originally posted in, and go back to that group and post
replies there.

Do you even know what an "FQDN" is? Expanded out, it is something like,
"example.com". What FQDN did you register, and with which registrar? Beyond
that, I don't have an IIS server running. I think Apache is better, anyway;
but this is an MSFT support group.
