Renewing ip

Here is my problem.I have 3 computers in my household 2 of them can connect
to the internet ok. My third one(mine) will not connect. When i check my
network connections and try to repair the connection it says "Windows could
not finish repairing the problem becuase he following action cannot be
completed :renewing your IP address.

i tryed alot of things i tryed re networking my computers i try adding a new
network card same deal so what can be done? By the way i do have servie pack
on all computers
