Hello,
I have a network Camera installed at home, I can access the camera through
the web browser from any of the computers that are connected in my home
network.
Now when I try to access the camera from my friends house, or lets say im
using my laptop at the mall which has Wi-Fi Access, i am unable to connect to
that camera. (http://192.168.1.44) at home it would ask me for a password and
username which i have set up. but unable to access that site from any where
else other than my house. Any solutions? What could i be doing wrong.?
Accessing it publicly is not allowed? if anyone can help i would greatly
apreciate it. thanks
Jason

If your home network has Internet access, you have at least one public IP
address. This is the address you must use in order to access the camera's
page over the Internet. Your public IP address is not 192.168.1.44 - that
is your internal network IP. You will also have to map TCP port 80 on your
public IP to 192.168.1.44. How you do this depends on how your internal
network is connected to the Internet.
