Hi, guys,

I installed acrobat reader as well as macromedia flash player in my machine.
when I went through some web-pages with a flash or pdf file, my Internet
Explorer just displays a placeholder icon for pdf file or flash. what is
wrong with my Internet Explorer?

My XP has been updated to XP SP2.

Is there anybody who can help me figure it out?

any recommedation, I would appriciate it!
