I am trying to access another pc on my network. I use \\wkstn100\c$ to gain
access. It works on one pc, but not on another. Any thoughts?

What operating system does each computer have?
Windows XP Home Edition doesn't have administrative shares like C$.
Windows XP Professional does, but only if you disable simple file
sharing.
