I have a home network that runs through a router and connects four computers
to the internet.  Two of them are runnung XP Pro, one is running 2000 NT Pro
and the last one is a linux box.  The probelm is with one of the XP Pro's.  I
can access every computer on the network but no one can access me.

I have tried a lot things.  Nothing seems to work.  All the computers can
see my computer on the network but they all recieved errors saying conntact
admin for premissions.  I am using simple file sharing and I have no desire
to do advance.

When I check to see if the windows firewall was blocking the requests I
found that none of the window firewall options are available to select.  So,
maybe there is an error with firewall, but I really don't know.  Orginally
when I install SP2 I selected not to enable windows firewall and that I will
monitor it myself.  I do run a firewall and it is Peer Guardian 2.  I know
that's not the probelm.  I have already checked all the blocks and allows on
the lists.

Also had some adware that got on my computer when I restored a freinds hard
drvie.  That was when I started to get a lot of problems.   Such as I
couldn't connect to windows update and some other minor stuff.  I did remove
all adware and I did fix the minor issues, but allowing other computers on my
network to accesss me I still can't fix.
