I have a continuing problem, my computer is XP home, some of the computers on
my network are win98SE, other XP machines can see my shared files, but all
Win98 machines can see the folder but no files. Any ideas????

Paul,
With a mixed LAN (Win 98 / XP), you have to beware of browser conflicts.

Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.

There are some issues with Win98SE not being able to see some complex file
names on Win XP systems.
There is also a limit built into XP Home which limits the number of
connected computers on a "Home" network, so it may be that your overall
workgroup has too many computers for the 98SE systems to cleanly see the XP
system.
