I am trying to set up my hp Laserjet4100 printer to print wirelessly.  I have
a Toshiba laptop computer a Belkin 54g wireless router and of course a
hp-lj4100N printer.  I need step-by-step instructions. I am somewhat familiar
with the process but can't seem to put the pieces together.

The printer is plugged directly into the wireless router along with my cable
modem.

I assume that your laptop can already wirelessly access the Internet via
the router.

See

for directions on how to install the printer.  Try things first with all
software firewalls disabled.

That link you providided did the trick.  I am now able to pring wirelessly.
Thanks again.
The problem was infact with the printer settings, which didn't occure to me
that I would also need to configure, and I needed to set up a TCP/IP port and
an IP address on my lap top, for the printer.
