No sweat, Lyn.

One of the most common causes of this problem would be a misconfigured or
overlooked personal firewall, or other security component. There are several
other possibilities too, and any might be the cause of your problem. Read this
article with an open mind.

Is the Guest account activated for network access on both computers?

Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.

Lyn,

Restrictanonymous is the best known problem here, but not the only one.

Do you have any non-printer shares?  Why not add one to each computer, and see
if they are visible?  Make sure that the problem isn't the printer driver.

And if I had a dollar for everybody who said "Norton Personal Firewall can't be
a problem - it's turned off", I'd not be as rich as Bill G, but I'd be a bit
better off.  Google a bit, and see.  NPF needs to be Enabled and properly
configured, or un installed.
