Win XP Network Connections (Wired) Disconnect several times a day on 2 XP
computers. If I double click My Network places nothing happens. When I reboot
the pc's the system reconncts OK. This has been going on for a few weeks. No
new software has been installed, only automatic MS XP updates. I don't think
its the cable modem or router.

Look at the Power Saving configuration of the Network Cards, and Un check it
(I.e set the cards Not to save power).

Thanks,
I will try it and see what happens. Although to my knowledge I haven't
changed the settings in the past.
