Message unavailable while offline

I'm getting (only on this Newsgroup) a high proportion of messages coming up
as "Message unavailable while offline" in the preview box.

Anyone know why this should be please?

As usual after a holiday weekend, the MS newsservers appear to be having
severe cases of indigestion, Bill. (Too much L-tryptophan?) Changing OE's
focus to any mail folder and then back to the newsgroup should connect you
to a different 'slave' server, hopefully one that's had a dose of
Alka-Seltzer. <w>

You would probably do better getting your feed for this newsgroup directly
from Microsoft.

In OE go to Tools | Accounts | Add (or New) | News.
Set up an account for this news server:

msnews.microsoft.com

The server is free and does not require you to logon. This news server
carries over 2200 newsgroups related to Microsoft products and keeps
messages at least 30 days.
