I am a newbie  to xp users accounts.
I am receiving a new laptop with xp pro soon.
Can my son get email with yahoo mail and his mother receive email with
Outlook 2003 at seperate times without having to configure seperate desktops
for each person.
They are going to share the laptop and I didn't know if the computer needs
to be configured for multi-users.
I was hoping that they could share the same desktop.
Any ideas are welcome.
Thanks

I don't know how outlook works, but your son can just go to Yahoo mail, via,
browser, and log on that way.
I can check my Yahoo mail on my sons' computer, I just need my password &
account name.
Just logon to the yahoo mail, then you san save it to Your Favorites for
easy access .

Hi Charles,

Setup an account in Outlook, and access Yahoo via there web interface.

I think not setting up user accounts is a mistake. Separate accounts
for each person that will be using the computer. This allows each user
to have their own document folders and settings such as the wallpaper,
Start menu, visual style, and so forth. You can create and configure
user accounts with the User Accounts tool in Control Panel.
