Hi

Try using the 'Program Compatibility Wizard'.  Failing that you may have to
upgrade those programs to XP compliant ones.

What are the names of the programs involved?  If you can give us a
list of the program names then there may be others on this newsgroup
who have specific knowledge about that program and can give you
detailed advice.

Many programs do have updates/patches available from the manufacturer
to make them XP compatible.   And many others just require a minor
configuration setting change.  But most programs designed for Windows
98 work just fine with Windows XP once they are installed (and that is
usually very straight-forward, just the same as it was with Windows
98).

Good luck
