usb memory stick

:My emachine won't read or write to my PNY  Attache 2.0 usb device.  It works
in other computers. It is there as drive J: but when I try to copy to it I
get  errorJ:\ is not accessilbe. The requestcould not be preformed because of
an I/O device error.   Help Please.  willyt
