Question on ActiveX Message Box

I have an ActiveX question and my operating system is Windows XP Pro version
5.1.2600.
Whenever I use the internet dictionary to look up a word and I want to hear
the pronunciation of that word, I click on the little red sound icon and then
I get a pop-up window with a message that says “Click to run an ActiveX
control on this web page”. I click the OK button and then I hear the word. If
I want to hear the pronunciation repeated, the message box reappears and I
have to click OK again. In fact, it appears every time I want to hear
something. This is quite annoying. How can I stop this message window from
appearing? Do I have to go into Control Panel to resolve this ActiveX issue
or is this something that can be changed through the Internet Options menu
from Explorer?

This might help:

Open Internet Options, click the Security tab, click Custom Level,
change "Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls" to "Disable".

Or, in the same area, change the "Reset to:" to "Medium", click "Reset".

Having the same problem as ReginaM. Tried disabling ActiveX control as you
described but still seeing repeated “Click to run an ActiveX control on this
web page” dialogs.
