Can I delete one profile?

I have 3 accounts in my computer. On the  user profiles a see:
Number 1:my  main profile, #2: my guest profile, #3: Accoun utnkown 55.0MB
Local.
My cuestion is: can I delete the unkown profile safely?

Sorry...,  I forgot, my OS is Windows XP home, sp2 640mb  ram.

The name of the Unknown Account is Unknown Account?  You cannot expect
someone too arbitrarily tell you ... yeah go ahead a remove it ... when the
account may be an account being used by the system in some manner.

Actually, yes.. I can say that you can safely remove that profile because
unless it is the default Administrator account (which will not show up unless
logged in, but you cannot remove an account while logged into it anyways), it
can be safely removed.

Hi again, I just removed that account,  no problem. I wonder how that unkown
account got there?. I did not created.

Well, since the profile is deleted, I guess you cannot look into the
Documents and Settings folder (55.0MB) worth and see what it was used for.

That's why I was suggesting to check it out before deleting.  Now it's too
late.
