Hello,

I want to reinstall Windows Xp soon, as I got a virus and after
cleaning the computer doesn't work as smooth as before. I gives some
strange erros and sometimes it justs hangs up... I want to backup
Outlook Express emails and settings before reinstall, and restore
afterwards. Any help?

Hi zina,

Check out the choices for OE backup that are presented here:

Hi Patti,

Thank you very much for your suggestion.

That was just like what I needed. However, if I am to choose between
a manual backup and a automated one ( made by a software ) I would go
with the last one, because I'm not the "do it your self" type, and I'm
afraid of the possibility of losing it if I don't do the backup just
right.

Too bad the OE Quick Backup has been discontinued..  Sounded like a
nice application.

However, after searching for similar software tools on the web I've
found several  , such as
http://www.amicutilities.com/outlook-express-backup/

This look like my problem is solved.

Thank you!
