I just purchased an Inspiron 1505 w/15.4 inch UltraSharp Wide Screen SXGA+
Display with TrueLife and 256MB ATI MOBILITY RADEON X1400 HyperMemory. When I
view web pages some of the fonts are small and some are bigger than others.
It varies on different web pages. Sometimes they are too small for comfort.
When I change the text size it doesn't change anything. My settings for the
display are at the defaults of 120DPI @125%. I am using Explorer 7 and XP
professional w/media center edition. Dell said it was IE7. They weren't too
helpful.

Rod,

Download and install Firefox 2.0.  When you visit a web site where the text
is too small, simply Crtl+= for a larger size. Not big enough yet? Ctrl+=
again. Too big now? Ctrl+-  No mouse necessary.

Hi,
Some webpages have the font size specified in pixels, which means that your
preferred setting in IE> View> Text size won't be honored.

You might try...
1. a setting of 96 DPI
2. a different screen resolution- in the area of 1024 x 768 or 800 x 600
3. Internet Options> General> Accessibility> check "Ignore font sizes"
4. a combination of 1 & 2

Hope this helps,
Don
