How do I change the color of the fonts below the icons on my desktop?
RajKohli - 25 Dec 2006 16:13 GMT
1. Right-click on an empty area of Desktop and choose Properties.
2. Click the Desktop tab and choose the color.

If you do not want any color in icon label background then follow this:

First
===

1. Right-click on My Computer and choose Properties
2. Click Advanced tab
3. Click Settings under Performance.
4. Make a check mark on "Use drop shadows for the icon labels on desktop".

Second
=====

1. Right-click on an empty area of the Desktop and uncheck "Lock Web Items
on the Desktop.

Third
===

1. Right-click on Desktop and choose Properties
2. Click Desktop tab and then click Customize Desktop button
3. Click the Web tab and uncheck any Web Pages listed

Apply the changes.

Hope this help, let us know!

Thank You...But the only color change was the background for each set of
fonts.

There is no inbuilt function in Windows to change the Font Color of the Icon
Labels. However, there are third party utilities available to do this:

Color.html

I will not recommended you to use this. As it doesn't work perfect with
Windows XP when you right-click on Desktop and choose Refresh. But you can
try. Not harmful.

Hope this help, let us know!

Thanks again for your help!  I think I'll just leave the desktop as is.
