For several weeks now I have been having my email and other programs  freeze
when I start them up then window says to end task and an error report
appears.  I have sent a lot of the reports in but have not found out where or
who to contact about the problem.  Of course, I am able to restart my email
in safe mode but the problem is very frustrating because I do not know what
to look for to correct it.
Hope there is someone out there that can help me.  P. S. The problem started
in Office Outlook but now it is happening in my Family Tree Program as well
as when I open "My Computer" and try to use a CD or Floppy, etc.

We cannot guess at what was sent to Microsoft after the application has
hung. However, there should be a report in Event Viewer>>Applications.
There should be entries for Application Hangs. Report back with what the
entry (or different entries) describe.

Since the problem seems to be expanding, check for any error entries in
Event Viewer>>System. Post the entire entries.

OK. To get to Event Viewer, open Control Panel and then Administrative
Tools. Click on Event Viewer.

An alternative way is to click on Start. In Run, type in eventvwr.exe
and click on OK.

Both ways will get you to Event Viewer.

Thanks again for your help, I was able to find the event viewer  and the
error reports but there were a lot of them, mostly for my FTW.exe and the
info said that their was nothing to do except it did say to check BK 918899
which I will do.  Guess I will continue on and see what happens.  May come
back late with more questions.  Bye Now and you did help as I found a few
more places to look for stuff than what I knew about before.  Ardeth
