What mail program?
For Outlook Express, do the following for both users:
Go to Tools | Accounts.
Select the account.
Click Properties.
Go to the Advanced tab.
Check all three boxes on the bottom. You can change the number of days.

Probably, but this is a WinXP newsgroup so I assumed that the question
concerned Outlook Express, which came with Windows XP. Anyhow, the same
instructions work for Windows Mail on Vista.
