How do I remove old flasher players

I need to remove some old flash players from my computer, because of security
reasons. I have been to all of the help references in Microsoft, but they do
not work on the older ones. Does anyone have an idea, on how to remove them?
I sure could use some help with this. Thanks to anyone that can help.
