I have saved several files containing signatures, that i want to use for
different documents. I have saved them in Microsoft works, notepad, star
offices and page plus. When I browse for the file to use I cannot find it.
only a few files comes up. When I open my documents by clicking on it, I then
see all of the files. But, i cannot find it when I browse from a different
program. Can someone assist me in this matter. Thank you for your time and
consideration.

When browsing for the file click the Type box and select *.*

Hi Mr. Saunders,

Thank you for your answer, but that did not solve the problem. Perhaps I
should make myself a little clearer. The problem is that i do not have those
extensions in my file type box. All file type  such as tif, tiff, jpg,
jpeg, gif, etc, they are listed. The file types of doc, txt, wps are not listed.
The wildcard character that you suggested is not listed either.

As i stated earlier, when I ope my documents in explorer all files are
there. It is just when I am trying to browse to use it in another program
that they do not all come up. Can you explain to me why these extensions are
being omitted when I browse for them?

Once again, thank you for your assistance

Open any folder window
Go to Tools -- > Folder Options
Go to View Tab
Uncheck the box containing "Hide extensions for known file types"
Now you will be able to see all file names with extensions.
