Adding a program to Startup

When programs are installed, some programs are automatically added to
Startup and some are not.
Some startup items can be easily  removed by msconfig.
How can I add some essential programs manually to Startup?   Jorge

The easiest way is to add shorcuts to the programs in your Startup folder.
