I did the following; clicked on "profile icon" when profile page appeared I did not change anything and clicked on "close profile", this returned me to the news group with my sign in name. Some people do not care for this reader. I tend to use several different news readers for different reasons and appreciate all the newsreaders. take care. beamish. In the web interface here, all you do to sign is click on "Reply" to a post, and you go to the sign-in window.
