reinstalling windows xp

H I, this is whisky how can download windows xp,without losing all of the web
sites and other stuff i have on my pc.
Also can somebody tell me why had (3) items show as pop-ups and which i
blocked because i did not know if they good or bad for my pc.
The (3) item,s were as follows.
1. Tcpip
2.netbt
3. 715e364-8f65-4ffe-b430-65c629597e64
After rooting around in pc i found out by accident they were part of os.
Ithink the only way i can fix this to download windows xp,but i also do not
want wipe out all my stuff i have on pc,i should be able to do it by
downloading to dvd
if i knew how todo it as have done that before can you explane to me how to
do it

First of all you cannot legally "download" XP........you can buy it at any
computer store.
Second...if you already have a "copy" of XP you can do a repair
installation...this will keep your settings etc...

How did those items show up as "popups"/??  what program was producing the
popups??
