I am trying to find my ip address,/host name/url so i can use ftp for public
viewing of my sites.  The address i try to use is rejected telling me that
the host and password are not correct.  Help me.   Also I am trying to build  
from a web template and when i enter the file name fro  my images folder that
i saved from paint when inserted using html, the picture will not show on the
page,  why. all that is shown is a red x in the window, what is that.

There is no one here that is going to know your user name and password
you will need to contact your provider

Okey then what about my other question regarding the red x when i insert a
file from my images into the "view source".  When I click on the web page
where the picture should be there is a red x in the frame,.  when I click on
the x it then opens the image on another page instead of showing the image on
my page.

That simply means the image is not available.
Since you were unable to upload the image to your website...
it will of course not be viewable.

before you go any farther you will have to get your ftp problem solved
by contacting your provider....

just one thing I though of though

the password is case sensitive and your user name may also be case sensitive

so enter them excatly the way they were listed when your account was first
set up
