"Open" box problem

When I go to open a photo in a photo program, or attach a photo in an email
program, the usual box opens up, where I can browse to the correct folder.
Starting about a week ago, the files in the folders I look in are no longer
in alphabetical order. This, happens even though I have made sure that the
files in those folders are set to "Arrange by name".
Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Thanks
Alex

With an OPEN or SAVE file dialog box open, click on the "View Menu"
icon at top right just under title bar and select "Details"

Click on "Name" header to put files in proper alphabetical order.

Hold down CTRL and click on the X (close button) at top right of the
dialog box.
