I received a "save" for part of a game that I am playing. The save was sent
to me by email but it is "text" and not "file" like the others that I have
saved myself during the game (under properties when right-clicking). How do I
change the text to a file and install it in the game? Thanks for any help.

You need to remove the extension.

If you can see ".txt" at the end of the filename then just rename the file
and remove the .txt part.

If you can't see it:
1) Go into My Computer
2) Click Tools > Folder Options
3) Select the View tab
4) Uncheck "Hide extensions for known filetypes"
5) Click OK

Then rename the file to remove the .txt extension.
