Search your hard drive for files ending in .htm or .html - these files are
created in Hypertext Markup Language, which is the language used to create
web pages on the Internet. Double-click on any of these files. If Internet
Explorer opens without a hitch, then the problem is in your DSL setup. If
double-clicking on a .htm or .html file produces the same problem, reinstall
Internet Explorer following these instructions:
