Problem with "Always On" Power Options

I need to configure one of our company's XP Pro SP2 desktop to be "always on"
which just like a server that is always available, no standby or hiberate.
Because the desktop need to run some scheduled tasks in the evening.

I logged on to the desktop with my AD account and changed my power options
to "Always on". Then lock the computer. However the desktop still go to
standby after a few hours. This makes the scheduled tasks fail to run.

Do I still need to set something more than "always on"?

I think that if you manually change the settings for "Turn off monitor" and
"Turn off Hard disk" and "System Standby" to "never", this should help.
